Help Wanted: We are looking for a part time server, 18 years or older, who can be available for some day (11am to 4:30pm) shifts and some evening (4pm until closing 11pm) shifts. Great News... Our very own Melanie Chan will soon be a published illustrator! As many of you already know, she has been illustrating a picture book over the past year, and is happy to announce it is now available for Pre-Order at a bookstore near you! "Moth and Wasp, Soil and Ocean: Remembering Chinese Scientist Pu Zhelong" will be released February of 2018. This project has been a labor of love for the Chinese culture and its history, and she took a great deal of care in making sure every illustrated detail was both historically and scientifically accurate. We do plan to sell copies of her book at Pagoda, but truly the best way you can support an author or illustrator is to Pre-Order their book! If you feel so inclined, please take a look at the links in the comments to find where to purchase Melanie's book. Other ways to help your favorite author or illustrator: -Find their book on Goodreads and click the "Want to Read" button. This will help generate interest in the book! -Request that your local library orders a copy (or a few) to have in their collection. -Share the book with your friends, teachers, and book club members. Melanie truly appreciates all the support you have given her these past years, and she is absolutely thrilled to see her hard work has paid off! Pagoda has the BEST customers, and we're so thankful for YOU!

The Pagoda Inn is proud to announce the arrival of the newest member of our family! Eli Thomas Chan was born on January 18th, at 3:00pm, 7lbs2.3oz and 20"long. He is a very alert and happy baby, and we couldn't be any happier to have him in our lives. Welcome to the world, little Eli! 💙 (For those of you who had guessed the baby's birth statistics, we are working on finding out the winners and you'll be notified soon if you've won!)
